Gorgeous crystal faceted Ablution Cup measures 4 ½" tall. Can also be used as an Ash Holder.
The Ablution Cup, is a small bowl like container, filled with water, kept near the tabernacle. After the distribution of Holy Communion, the priest, minister and the deacon, returns the Ciborium to the tabernacle, dips his thumb and index into the water held by the ablution cup, wipes his fingers on the purificatory.
