HAND PAINTED PLASTER STATUE – 8 Inches High

His name was Francesco Frogioni, also known as Pio de Pietrelcina. He was born in a town called Pietrelcina, Italy in 1887.

STORY ABOUT HIM
At the age of 16 he became a friar, all his life he was very ill. In 1917 he made his permanent vows. He died in the convent of Giovanni Rotondo in 1968. During his life, he suffered a total of 5 stigmata, the 5 wounds that Jesus had on the cross and they bled him for half a century.

He had the gift of being in two places at the same time, in life he performed many miracles, he was a great confessor and he had the gift that when the person went to confession, he could see the sins of that person.

WHEN DO WE PRAY HIM?
We turn to him to ask for his intercession, glorification and humility. To ask for and receive an urgent miracle. To help us overcome our problems and lead us to find God’s way when we find ourselves lost in anguish and stress.

PRAYER
Physical healing for us and for our loved ones, especially for the terminally ill.
