STORY ABOUT HIM
Also called Apostle of the Gentiles. He was born in Tarzo, Turkey in the year 7 and died beheaded in the year 67. His remains are in the sanctuary of the Basilica of Saint Paul in Rome, Italy. He was a religious leader Pharisee very jealous of his Judaic religion, persecuting Christians. While traveling to Damascus, he had the appearance of Jesus, where he asked him, Saul, why are you persecuting me? From that moment he turned from being a persecutor to being a persecuted one. He was a great defender of Christians and an apostle of Christ.

PRAYER
Apostle Saint Paul, chosen by the Lord to carry his holy name throughout the earth, help me to imitate your example and defend my Catholic religion with jealousy. Hearing promptly the voice of God, just as you did when you were on the road to Damascus and fighting against my passions if not make it temporary and with appreciation for the eternal, for the glory of God the Father who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign For ever and ever, amen.
