STORY ABOUT HIM
He was born on November 25, 1870 in Wisconsin and died on July 31, 1957 in Detroit. The son of an Irish family and became a friar, his family was extremely poor. Initially he wanted to be a priest but 5 years later he moved to another order. He was the doorman of the convent where they had him, and because of his work, he spoke with all the people who came. People felt very good about him and greatly appreciated his advice. His memory is as humble as his life was, one of his tips that is much remembered was that he told people to try to be people who serve and not those who are served. Try to be the ones to please others and not the ones to be sympathetic. Do not fall into the serious trap of seeing the events of cver how it affects you, such self-centeredness is the opposite of holiness. This is God’s will for everyone. He had a lot of love for the poor and the sick.
